The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2008 with an intake of 60.

To create high quality civil engineers with global perspective and to inculcate in them professionalism and work ethics for building a stronger society.

MISSION

1. To nurture civil Engineers with competent technical skills, professional and ethical values to serve the Nation.
2. To transform the department into a centre of excellence in the field of civil engineering and allied research.
3.  To provide knowledge base through consultancy services to the community in all areas of civil engineering.
4. To inculcate innovation and eco sustainable construction in the minds of budding civil engineers to face ever evolving challenges.
