About SRO’s Role

The Student Relationship Officer is responsible for providing supportive role to students through individual counselling, career guidance, catering to students human and professional developmental needs, enabling students to develop their full potential along with academic rigiour.

An assessment of individual and group training needs are undertaken based on this, training modules are developed catering to various group needs like time and stress management, personality development, professional grooming etc . Based on the mission statement of Aldel Education Trust the role of SRO would attempt to inculcate in students values and help them realise their full potential.

Student counselling can also help them with issues such as:
Adjusting to a new culture, dealing with dilemmas, making difficult decisions or choices, as well as more specific problems such as bereavement and difficulties affecting studies.

The Student Relationship Officer works as part of student and academic support teams and is available on campus to handle academic or general queries from students.
